The Role
As QS Director, you'll lead and develop the Cost Management team while driving sustainable business growth across the West Midlands and beyond.
Key responsibilities include
- Leading the Cost Management service line and setting its strategic direction.
- Developing new business opportunities through your existing network and client relationships.
- Growing key accounts while identifying opportunities across existing clients.
- Providing leadership, mentoring and development to a high-performing Cost Management team.
- Taking ownership of the commercial performance of the division, including P&L responsibility.
- Ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality Cost Management services across multiple sectors.
- Supporting bids, frameworks and major project opportunities.
- Acting as a senior ambassador for the business, building long-term relationships with clients and industry partners.
This is a role focused on leadership, growth and commercial success rather than day-to-day project delivery.
About You
- We're looking for an experienced Cost Management professional who can demonstrate:
- A proven track record operating at Associate Director, Director or equivalent level within a consultancy environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing financial performance and P&L.
- An established Midlands client network with the ability to generate new business opportunities.
- Experience leading, mentoring and developing successful teams.
- Excellent client-facing skills with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
- A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to business development and leadership.
