Pegasus International (UK) Ltd. is expanding its multidisciplinary LNG and infrastructure advisory team. We are seeking highly experienced professionals for immediate engagement on a major LNG Terminal Project covering feasibility, FEED, technical assurance, commercial and PPP advisory, environmental and social safeguards, procurement, project controls and transaction execution.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Lead geotechnical gap assessment, field-investigation planning, ground-model development and foundation recommendations for LNG tanks, process facilities, marine structures and site infrastructure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review existing site-investigation data and define targeted borehole, CPT, geophysical and laboratory-testing programmes.
- Develop an integrated geological and geotechnical ground model for the full project footprint.
- Assess bearing capacity, settlement, liquefaction, lateral spreading, cyclic degradation and slope/shoreline stability.
- Recommend ground improvement, piling, raft, deep-foundation and instrumentation strategies.
- Provide design parameters for LNG tanks, heavy equipment, pipe racks, buildings, roads and marine structures.
- Assess construction dewatering, excavation support, fill suitability and geotechnical risks.
- Prepare geotechnical specifications, interpretive reports, cost inputs and risk-mitigation measures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering; master’s degree or doctorate is preferred.
- Professional engineering or geotechnical registration is desirable.
- Strong capability in geotechnical interpretation and recognized analysis software.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 10 years of geotechnical experience, including at least 5 years on coastal, marine, LNG, port or heavy industrial developments.
- Experience designing and supervising boreholes, CPTs, geophysics and specialist laboratory testing.
- Proven experience with soft ground, high groundwater, liquefaction, settlement and ground-improvement design.
- Experience with LNG tank or large circular-tank foundation systems is highly desirable.
- Experience integrating geotechnical data into FEED, cost estimates and procurement requirements is preferred.

WORK LOCATION AND MOBILITY
Candidates must be willing to work from and support Pegasus offices and project assignments in the United Kingdom, Malaysia and Bangladesh. International and domestic travel will be required for project meetings, site visits, workshops, technical reviews and stakeholder consultations. Candidates must be able to obtain the necessary visas, security clearances, medical fitness and work authorization; Pegasus will provide reasonable support subject to eligibility and applicable law.
