We have a great opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our busy, professional team on a 6 month fixed term contract.
About your role
As Procurement Administrator you will support our Senior Procurement Manager in our long term supply chain strategy.
You will support administrative tasks related to purchasing processes, supplier coordination, and contract management. You will manage documentation and handle inquiries, ensuring compliance with company procedures. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient procurement operations and fostering strong supplier relationships.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the implementation and rollout of new contracts to the business and on-going management of these contracts
- Managing documentation, data entry, and record-keeping related to procurement activities.
- Handling inquiries, maintaining communication, and potentially assisting with supplier selection and relationship management.
- Assisting with contract drafting, renewals, and amendments, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Creating and tracking purchase orders, managing invoices, and ensuring timely payment to suppliers.
- Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Maintaining accurate records, updating databases, and generating reports related to procurement activities.
Please note: This role will be contactually based from our Winchester office on a hybrid basis, circa 3 days office / 2 days from home with some flexibility, to be discussed at interview.
About you
You will be an experienced administrator ideally with experience gained within a property or facilities related sector. You will be highly organised, have excellent attention to delta and be pro-active with a positive attitude. Procurement experience would be an advantage.
Strong IT skills are essential and ideally you’ll be familiar with Google tools such as Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets and the internet. Previous experience of working with property management, CRM and accounting systems such as Fixflo, Qube and Salesforce would be ideal but otherwise a proven ability to quickly understand and pick up new systems (training will be provided).
