Pegasus Group have exciting opportunities and are recruiting Transport Planners from Senior to Associate level to join our successful Transport team in either our Bristol Central or Bristol North office.
What Are We Looking For.
We are seeking enthusiastic, passionate individuals to join our expanding team and be involved in supporting all aspects of development planning project work through the whole development cycle from site selection/due diligence and appraisal, through planning, design and implementation.
This will include preparing Access Strategies, Transport Assessments/Statements, Travel Plans, Construction Traffic Management Plans, Parking Strategies, Sustainable transport / Active Travel, and inputs to Environmental Impact Assessment. You will be required to undertake junction modelling (Junctions 10 (Arcady, Picady) and LinSig), input to S106 negotiations, liaise with local highway authorities and much more.
You will work on a number of exciting, complex transport planning projects, with the support of our Directors and Transport team, and gain valuable experience and exposure across a range of sectors and a variety of clients on all scales/types of projects.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- A degree in a related subject (a master’s degree in transport would be desirable)
- Policy and guidance such as NPPF, DMRB, , Manual for Streets, LTN 1/20 etc;
- Use of the TRICS database;
- Setting up and running of junction modelling software, including Junctions 10; and
- Collaboration with clients, project teams, highways officers and community members are at the core of our approach and candidates should have good written and verbal communication skills.
