Do you have a passion for biodiversity, nature-based solutions, green infrastructure, and sustainable development? We are seeking skilled and knowledgeable ecologists to become part of our newly established ecology team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute from the outset, with positions available at Senior to Associate levels in our Leeds office. Our operations span across the UK, delivering high-quality ecological services within our environment team across various sectors and projects.

Requirements:
  • A relevant degree in ecology or related environmental discipline.
  • Extensive professional experience in ecological consultancy.
  • Full membership of CIEEM (or eligibility), working towards chartership.
  • Expertise in UK ecology, legislation, and planning system.
  • Proven track record of managing complex ecological projects.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
  • Protected species licences (e.g. Bats, Great Crested Newt, Hazel Dormouse).
Desirable:
  • GIS skills for mapping and visualising habitat data.
  • Understanding of natural capital approaches and ecosystem service evaluation.
  • Experience in developing offsite BNG solutions or sourcing Biodiversity Units.
  • Experience in designing and implementing habitat creation or enhancement schemes.
  • Relevant protected species survey licenses.
