As Commercial Manager, you will take ownership of the commercial and financial performance across a diverse portfolio of Passive Fire projects. You will be responsible for driving profitability, supporting business development, leading contract negotiations, and ensuring robust commercial controls are in place across the business.
You will also play an integral role in developing and improving internal procedures, policies, and commercial standards as the business continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities- Full commercial and financial management of multiple Passive Fire projects
- Identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities and growth areas
- Preparing and supporting high-quality tenders and bids
- Negotiating contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Driving improvements in commercial procedures, systems, and policies
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory, contractual, and industry standards
- Supporting senior leadership with strategic planning and business growth initiatives
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Commercial Manager (or similar senior commercial) role within construction
- Passive Fire experience highly advantageous (Fire Stopping, Fire Doors)
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse data and drive informed decisions
- Confident leader, able to manage and influence internal and external stakeholders
- Highly organised with excellent time management and attention to detail
