We are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a well-known transport company in the North West region, operating from its customer's site in Golborne.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for regular day work, straightforward deliveries and the opportunity to move into a permanent position.
The Work
Approximately 90% of deliveries are side-tip deliveries, with the majority of the fleet consisting of curtain-side trailers.
The loads consist of empty plastic bottles, meaning the pallets are very lightweight.
A small number of customers require deliveries to be tipped through the rear doors.
Some pump-truck work may be required for these deliveries; however, due to the nature of the product, there is very limited weight involved.

Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 1 driving experience
- Good understanding of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
- Comfortable using a pump truck when required
- Reliable and professional approach
- Good communication and time-management skills
