Warehouse Operative / PPT Operator – Morning Shift Location: DE65, Derby Pay Rate: £13.09 per hour Working Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Job Description We are recruiting experienced Warehouse Operatives with PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) operating experience to join a busy warehouse operation in the DE65 area of Derby. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking consistent weekday work, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position directly with the company after 12 weeks. Key Responsibilities * Operating a PPT safely and efficiently. * Moving stock and materials around the warehouse. * Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch. * Loading, unloading and replenishing stock as required. * Maintaining a clean and organised working environment. * Following all warehouse health and safety procedures. Requirements * Previous PPT operating experience is essential. * Previous warehouse experience is essential. * Must be confident operating a Powered Pallet Truck in a warehouse environment. * Good attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. * Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team. Pay & Benefits * £13.09 per hour. * Monday to Friday. * Morning shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM. * 12-week temporary contract with the opportunity to become a permanent employee directly with the company, subject to satisfactory performance and company requirements.
