Overview
We are currently recruiting for RASSO PIP2 Investigative Consultants based in Cumbria.
Hours: Full-time, part-time and compressed hours available
Rate of pay: £23 per hour (outside IR35)
Locations: Cumbria – Carlisle, Kendal, Barrow
Contract: Temporary ongoing
Purpose:
We are recruiting for experienced PIP2 investigators to join our Peel Solutions Consultancy Team. You will be deployed to provide support to the force, investigating with rape and serious sexual assault offences.
Responsibilities
Duties:
- Retrieving and reviewing CCTV trawl and collection
- House to house enquiries
- Taking witness statements
- Case file building and submitting to CPS
- Transporting of forensic material to labs
- Keeping victims/reports up to date
- Third party material (collection, collation and review)
- Interviewing victims/suspects (subject to national guidance/policy)
- And any other live PPU demand that requires investigative support
Essential Criteria
- Ex-Detectives (PIP2 Accredited or equivalent)
- Experience investigating RASSO
Desirable Criteria
Desirable Criteria: Specialist Investigative Interviewers (formally known as ABE/Tier 3 witness interviewers)
