Are you a dedicated payroll professional with previous experience in a fast-paced environment? Are you excited by the opportunity to play a crucial role in ensuring monthly payroll is processed efficiently and correctly with a right first-time approach? We are seeking a Payroll Analyst for our team at the Port of Liverpool to help us keep the world moving! This role is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
Your role
- Process monthly payroll with a right first-time approach.
- Provide reliable, on-time, and accurate monthly salary payments, performing checks and correcting any discrepancies ahead of running payroll.
- Analyse pre-payroll reports, reconciling discrepancies ahead of preparing final payroll authorisation.
- Liaise with the wider payroll team to ensure monthly payroll information, including overtime and flexible benefit adjustments, are submitted error-free.
- Provide support to weekly payroll as and when required.
What you’ll bring
- Previous experience working in payroll, processing monthly pay.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above, including in Maths and English.
- Excellent communication skills to build strong working relationships across the business.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and previous SAP experience.
