Peel Land (part of the Peel Group of companies) is a leading UK strategic land business specialising in the acquisition, promotion, management, and delivery of development opportunities which support economic growth and employment opportunities for local communities predominately across the North of England. With a land bank of close to over 12,000 acres, and a live development pipeline encompassing significant residential, commercial and wider mixed-use proposals, schemes run from Gateway East in Doncaster through to Hulton Park in Bolton and many more beyond.
Following an internal strategic review, the Group are looking to hire a Development Director who will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the commercial strategy for the Peel Land business.
This position requires a dynamic leader with a strategic mindset, capable of driving income and capital generation through overseeing major projects and exploring new investment opportunities. Working closely with the Managing Director and Head of Finance, the appointed Development Director will be an integral part of the Senior Management Team, delivering a strong financial position and future growth trajectory for the company.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate experience of the following key attributes:
- Proven experience in a senior Development role, preferably within the land or real estate sector.
- Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills.
- Excellent financial acumen and experience in managing large-scale mixed-use projects.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- The ability to work collaboratively with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
