We are a busy town centre practice looking to recruit a friendly phlebotomist who will fit in well with our clinical team. We are a medium sized practice with 10,150 patients with a diverse practice population. We are also a training and teaching practice committed to investing in clinicians of the future.
Main duties of the job You will have your own structured appointment books for blood tests, NHS health checks, ECGs and others. You will be responsible for clinical stock checking and ordering and also maintaining the fridge temperature logs. Please see job description for full list

We also have a number of reception and admin staff who are vital in the day to running of the practice. Job responsibilities Responsible for : Our aim is to provide a high standard of clinical care in a General practice setting. Main Duties :
Providing screening and health education advice under the supervision of a registered healthcare professional.
Working collaboratively within the team to meet the needs of the patients following agreed policy and procedures, standards and guidelines
Undertake the collection, storage and dispatch of pathological specimens
Perform investigatory procedures requested by the GPs

Undertake, record and follow guidelines for the tasks for which you have received appropriate training

Valid membership of professional bodies where required
Attend and comply with Health & Safety training and regulations
To work according to Practice policies and procedures and within the scope of your skills and training and Peel GPs standard of delivery services.
