Responsibilities

• Install new fire door sets in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
• Carry out fire door maintenance and remedial works, including adjustment or replacement of components such as hinges, seals, closers, and ironmongery.
• Ensure all installations and repairs are fully compliant with current fire safety regulations and FIRAS requirements.
• Accurately complete all associated documentation and inspection records.
• Work efficiently and safely across occupied and live environments.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) or qualified by experience in Carpentry & Joinery.
• Proven experience in fire door installation and remedial works.
• In-depth knowledge of fire door components, compliance standards, and certification requirements.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North West region.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality, accuracy, and compliance.
