Peel Construction are currently looking for 2 fire damper engineers for one of our clients who operate nationwide.
This position would be to cover the M8 corridor in Scotland.
The Role:
– Drop testing and inspections of fire dampers
– Advantageous to have experience carrying out fire damper remedials
– Complete ductwork surveys, evaluating the safety and functionality
– Spot flaws and advise on repairs
– Retain pre- and post work photographs and notes for accurate and precise reports
Experience:
– Experienced as a fire damper
– Adaptable to travel to client sites
– Able to use IT software and produce meticulous service reports
– Favourable to obtain the CSCS card and BESA Fire Damper Testing & Installation certificate – But not essential.
– Understanding of BS9999 and HSE guidelines
– Dedicated and working to agreed targets
