Pediatrix Medical Group of Florida is seeking a full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our respected neonatology practice at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, a U.S. News-ranked children's hospital and the largest NICU in Broward County.
Joe DiMaggio NICU has:
- 62 Level-IV NICU beds and 22 Level-II beds
- Average daily census of 70 and over 5,000 annual births
- System-wide, the two sister NICUs have 36 Level-III beds and an additional 8,000 annual births
We offer:
- Robust high-risk perinatal navigation program
- Full complement of pediatric subspecialists
- Care of full range of complex neonatal diagnoses
- On-site ECMO, therapeutic hypothermia, BPD programs, full range of ventilation modes including HFOV, HFJV, NAVA
- Variety of shifts including 10-12 hour day shifts and 12-16 hour night shifts
- Rotations to Memorial West and Memorial Miramar with 24-hour shifts
About Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital (Memorial Healthcare):
- Part of the Memorial Healthcare System, the 4th largest public health system in the country and a quaternary trauma center
- A 4-story vertical expansion was completed at Joe DiMaggio in 2023, as well as a women's and children's outpatient pavilion in the nearby Miramar facility
- Received institutional ACGME accreditation in August 2015 and welcomed its first class of pediatric residents in 2018
- The NICU is one of only 11 Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Centers (RPICC) in Florida
