U.S. News-Ranked Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital Sunny South Florida

Pediatrix Medical Group of Florida is seeking a full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our respected neonatology practice at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, a U.S. News-ranked children’s hospital and the largest NICU in Broward County. Joe DiMaggio NICU has 62 Level-IV NICU beds and 22 Level-II beds; average daily census of 70 and over 5,000 annual births. System-wide, the two sister NICUs have 36 Level-III beds and an additional 8,000 annual births.

  • Robust high-risk perinatal navigation program
  • Full complement of pediatric subspecialists
  • Care of full range of complex neonatal diagnoses
  • On site ECMO, therapeutic hypothermia, BPD programs, full range of ventilation modes including HFOV, HFJV, NAVA
  • Variety of shifts including 10-12 hour day shifts and 12-16 hour night shifts
  • Rotations to Memorial West and Memorial Miramar with 24 hour shifts

About Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital (Memorial Healthcare):

Joe DiMaggio is part of the Memorial Healthcare System, the 4th largest public health system in the country and a quaternary trauma center. A 4-story vertical expansion was completed at Joe DiMaggio in 2023, as well as a women’s and children’s outpatient pavilion in the nearby Miramar facility. Memorial Healthcare received institutional ACGME accreditation in August 2015 and welcomed its first class of pediatric residents in 2018. The NICU is one of only 11 Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Centers (RPICC) in Florida. The hospital offers free accommodations for families at its Conine Clubhouse on the hospital campus, while their babies receive expert care. Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital offers a comprehensive range of healthcare services, including heart transplant, kidney transplant, neurosurgery, hematology/oncology, and ECMO.
