We’re a FoodTech scale-up with over £25mill of funding, and we want to revolutionise food delivery through the creation and franchising of virtual food brands (brands designed for delivery), operated by anyone that runs a commercial kitchen. We offer kitchen operators everything they need to sell our brands through delivery apps whilst continuing to service their core customers. In short, we’re defining the future of the food delivery market! Nobody’s growing as fast as us in the UK, and we’re looking for great people to join us on our journey.

We are seeking a skilled HR Manager to lead the implementation of our performance management processes. This role is ideal for a proactive HR professional who thrives on driving employee performance, engagement, and development. N.B. This is a part time role, working 2 days per week.

The Role:

  • Help managers define a clear role and set of responsibilities for each team member.
  • Help managers to set clear KPIs and evaluation criteria for employee performance.
  • Ensure that each employee's role and responsibilities are aligned with their KPIs.
  • Manage our performance framework, tailored to a fast-paced start up.
  • Run our performance appraisal process, including collecting feedback and helping the team to plan career development.
  • Train and guide managers/the team on how to support and engage with performance management.
  • Run regular performance reviews, coaching, and feedback sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and best HR practices related to performance management.
  • HR Admin tasks, including contact variations, upkeep of HR records, collection of right to work documents, offboarding etc.

About you:

  • Proven experience in HR with a strong focus on performance management.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing performance appraisal systems.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation.
  • Ability to influence and coach managers on effective performance management techniques.

£40,000 - £50,000 a year
