Boutique Hotel Group owns three luxury hotels and wedding venues set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, hands-on Pastry Chef de Partie to join our team at Peckforton Castle.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Creating desserts, pastries, breads and other baked goods for our restaurants, along with catering for weddings, conferences and other events.
  • Coordinating daily tasks with the Head and Sous Chef and following all instructions and recommendations.
  • Ensuring food is prepared in accordance with recipe, food hygiene and allergen control requirements.
  • Ensuring that stock is rotated and controlled within the specific section of the kitchen.
  • Ensuring all food hygiene regulations are adhered to and comply with all food regulation standards and HACCP guidelines.
  • Being able to prioritise tasks and demonstrate effective time management.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Previous proven experience in a similar role.
  • A positive “can do” attitude to solving issues.
  • A team player with good communication skills.
  • Good organisation skills, be punctual and work well under pressure.

We are looking for a talented Chef to maintain our high standards and consistently deliver beautiful and tasty delicacies whilst also catering for any special dietary needs.
