The individual will carry out site carpentry and joinery installations at locations across the UK. The role involves managing and maintaining high standards of workmanship through checks and quality lists. In addition to the installation works, you will also be responsible as site foreman in the smooth running and coordination of the site on a daily basis; reporting back to the project manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with project and site managers.
- Communicate professionally with PEC customers.
- Work collaboratively within a site team.
- Perform duties as a tradesperson and site working foreman.
- Be willing to work nationally and stay overnight when required.
- Maintain Health & Safety standards, including PPE and uniform compliance.
- Ensure the site reflects a professional image.
- Train apprentices and ensure their safety.
- Adapt to working with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, PEFC, FSC standards.
- Carry out additional duties as required.

Assignment & Review
Tasks will be agreed upon by the Project Manager and reviewed regularly.

Education / Qualifications
- CSCS Card
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Joinery
- Minimum 5 years’ experience on building/shopfitting sites
Experience
- Previous experience in site joinery on commercial type projects.
- Competence in 1st and 2nd fix joinery.
