Your Role and Responsibilities
- You will ensure that our children and young people are cared for in every aspect of their lives, including keeping them safe from harm, supporting education, cooking, cleaning, and participating in fun activities.
- You will support our care teams across several homes in the same area.
- You will receive a full induction, shadow shifts, and in-depth training, including a full introduction to Therapeutic Parenting.
- You will communicate with the team regularly regarding your availability for shifts and cover as many shifts as possible; you are required to cover at least one shift every four weeks to remain in the role.

- Your hourly rate is £12.75 - £13.53 per hour and £80 per sleep payment depending on qualifications and training.
- Full-time equivalents accrue paid annual leave for every hour worked (Full-time equivalent is 28 days).

Essential Qualities

- SCQF Level 7 (Scotland) or Level 3 Diploma (England) relevant to Children and Young People’s Residential workforce or desire to work towards this.
- Familiarity with the Codes of Practice set out by regulatory bodies, e.g. SSSC / Ofsted.
- An existing PVG / DBS certificate or willingness to obtain this.
