Pebbles Care has an exciting opportunity for you to collaborate with our established team and become an integral part of our children's lives.

Your role may vary each working day across a small cluster of homes, with various shift patterns to support holiday or training cover.

Our unique cluster roles allow you to enhance your development and enrich your experience by offering varied work and the opportunity to work across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

  • Daily home life tasks such as driving our children to and from school, appointments, and visits (a full UK manual driving license is essential).
  • Teaching valuable life skills, including meal preparation and household chores, while creating lasting memories through engaging activities, outings, and holidays.
  • Providing support tailored to each young person's needs, either one‑to‑one or two‑to‑one, across multiple locations within a small cluster.

Your role as a Cluster Residential Child Care Worker

  • Full‑time employment averaging 56.4 hours per week, including sleep hours.
  • Work collaboratively on shift across multiple locations with a rota pattern of one day on (24 hours, including sleepover) and two days off (48 hours); rota may vary based on the needs of each home.
  • Training begins on day one with comprehensive induction and shadow shifts to learn the Pebbles Way and therapeutic care model.

  • A starting salary of £35,468.95 to £37,043.94 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.
  • Your average weekly working hours, including sleepovers, are 56.4.
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave per annum (pro‑rata for part‑time contracts).
