Responsibilities
Daily home life activities include:
- Driving our children to and from school, appointments and visits (a full UK manual driving licence is essential).
- Teaching valuable life skills such as meal preparation and household chores.
- Creating lasting memories through engaging activities, outings and holidays.
You will be employed full-time, averaging 56.4 hours per week (including sleep hours), working collaboratively with your team on shift across multiple locations in a cluster of homes. Support will be tailored to the young person’s needs, either one‑to‑one or two‑to‑one.
Training and Development
- Comprehensive induction and shadow shifts from day one.
- Learning and Development team support for 100% funding of Level 3 SVQ/NVQ qualification in Residential Child Care.
- Career review upon completion of induction, training and minimum qualifications.

What We Offer
- Salary: £34,719.00 to £36,248.00 per annum, pro rata, based on experience.
- Cluster Full‑time rota: one day on (24 h, including sleepover) and two days off (48 h). Average weekly hours, including sleepovers, are 56.4.
- 5.6 weeks annual leave per annum (pro rata for part‑time).

- Existing PVG/DBS certificate.
