Your Role
You will be at the heart of creating an inclusive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing each student's needs, understanding their unique learning profiles, and delivering a pupil-centred educational programme. Collaboration is key, and you will work with other educators, support staff, and our psychology team to ensure a holistic approach to each child's development. You will empower pupils and provide them with the necessary support and resources.

The Essential qualities we look for
- Educated to degree level with undergraduate/postgraduate teaching qualification.
- Secondary school teaching experience.
- Desire to work with pupils who have experienced trauma and challenge.
- Proficient in adapting and modifying curriculum to ensure inclusivity.
- Must have a current valid driving license.
- An enhanced Disclosure certificate.
- Full registration with the General Teaching Council for England.
- Right to work in the UK.
The Desirable Qualities We Look for
- Knowledge of theoretical approaches to Adverse Childhood Experiences, mental health, attachment, therapeutic parenting, etc., applied to everyday practice.
- Experience teaching and assessing pupils with Additional Support Needs or the desire to undertake professional learning to gain skills in this area.
- Experience in formulating flexible curricula for ‘hard-to-reach' pupils.
