Town Planner | Warwickshire Competitive Salary & Benefits | Permanent Ref: DB076 Are you passionate about shaping places and influencing built environments? A well‑established, independent planning and development advisory firm working across the Midlands and nationwide is looking for an experienced Town Planner to join their team. Their portfolio spans from small and major residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use schemes. They engage with public & private sector clients, charitable organisations, and developers. Role Responsibilities * Undertake site appraisals, feasibility studies, and development appraisals * Lead planning applications from inception through to determination (including preparing supporting statements, design & access statements, and liaising with statutory consultees) * Provide planning advice on policy compliance, constraints, and opportunities * Assist with appeals, enforcement matters, and other planning processes * Engage proactively with local authorities, planning officers, and clients to resolve issues and negotiate outcomes What We’re Looking For * Relevant experience in a similar * A degree in Planning, Urban Design, or related discipline * Excellent communication skills, written and verbal * Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, with attention to detail and deadlines * Experience with appeals, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) screening, heritage or regeneration projects (Desirable) What You’ll Get * Professional development and support to grow in your career * Exposure to a diverse range of planning projects * Hybrid working * A collaborative, supportive workplace where your voice will be valued Interested?
