Our client is looking for an experienced Town Planner to join their large multidisciplinary consultancy. They work across a wide range of projects from small residential extensions to large-scale regeneration schemes. Areas of specialism include urban mixed-use developments, housing, retail, sports venues, energy infrastructure, master planning, urban design, environmental impact assessments, community engagement, and heritage planning.
Senior Town Planner Responsibilities
- Manage and prepare planning applications and supporting documents
- Conduct site appraisals, feasibility reviews, and policy research
- Liaise with local authorities, clients, and other stakeholders throughout the planning process
- Support junior member of the team
- Contribute to both major regeneration schemes and smaller-scale local projects
Senior Town Planner Requirements
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- RTPI-accredited degree in Town Planning or related discipline
- Excellent communication, written and verbal
- Proactive and collaborative attitude
- Full UK Driving License
- Member of MRTPI
