A brilliant opportunity for an experienced Planner to join a well-established town planning consultancy. They have a national presence and work on projects across various sectors such as commercial, residential, sport, leisure, healthcare, and public sector.
Planner Duties
- Prepare and submit planning applications and appeals
- Conduct site appraisals and planning research
- Prepare Retail Impact Assessments
- Liaise with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders
- Contribute to planning strategy development for various schemes
Planner Requirements
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- MRTPI or working towards
- Retail Impact Assessment experience
- A relevant degree in Town Planning or similar (RTPI Accredited)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of the various factors of retail planning; mainly in relation to promoting new and extended food retail outlets
- Full UK driving license
