Consultant Ecologist
Location: London
Salary: £27,000 – £40,000
We are seeking ambitious Ecologists to join our London-based team. The role involves working closely with the ecology team to conduct protected species surveys, develop tenders, produce technical reports, and manage projects.
Ecologist Position Overview
- Undertake protected species surveys
- Assist in building tenders and creating fee quotations
- Produce technical reports (PEA reports, BNG reports, protected species reports, etc.)
- Manage small‑to‑medium sized projects and assist with large projects when needed
Ecologist Position Requirements
- 3–8 years of industry experience
- Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field
- One protected species license (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
- Knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and ability to apply correctly
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management (preferred)
Ecologist Position Remuneration
- Competitive salary, £27,000–£40,000 depending on experience
