What You'll Own
Success in this role means consistent revenue growth, a healthy pipeline, and strong customer relationships that translate into long-term partnerships. You will own:
- The acquisition of new business across training providers, employers, and employer groups
- A robust and well-managed sales pipeline, from opportunity identification through to conversion
- The successful introduction and uptake of new apprenticeship products and digital services
You’ll also lead and influence:
- Commercial strategies that drive volume growth in consortia and employer groups
- Cross-functional collaboration with Product, Marketing, Customer Services, FE Sales, and Assessment Services
- Contributions to bids, tenders, and divisional strategy through strong market insight and reporting
About You
You bring strong commercial acumen, proven sales capability, and experience within the apprenticeship or work-based learning sector — and you’re someone who thrives on opening new doors and delivering results. You bring:
- At least 2 years' experience in apprenticeship sales or a related business development role
- A strong understanding of the training provider and employer landscape
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
You’re someone who:
- Builds trust quickly and develops lasting relationships
- Takes ownership, works independently, and follows through on commitments
- Thrives in fast-paced, target-driven environments while keeping customers at the centre of decisions
