Pearson is looking for a strong techno-functional expert on Hyperion FCCS.
Key Responsibilities
- Business analysis and requirements gathering from key business stakeholders to define changes and development.
- On-going maintenance and development of FCCS Application.
- Manage incident support activities and work with other FCCS support teams.
- Ownership and successful completion of change requests from design to implementation.
- Advocate for usability, accessibility standards, and inclusive design best practices.
- Conduct research and critical analysis to identify opportunities for improvements.
- Ensure overall data integrity by maintaining key internal control processes and reconciliations.
- Dashboards and reports development.
- Assist as needed with internal audit requirements for SOX.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems in response to alerts from Data scheduling tools.
- Manage time utilization to ensure that tasks are completed on time, or that issues are escalated to management.
- Migrate change requests into the production environment after end-to-end testing and business approval.
- Support and monitor month-end, half-year and end-of-year activities along with statutory reporting and cash flow.
- Configure source and target systems and continuous scheduling and mapping changes via Data Exchange.
- End user support and training.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience.
- 5+ years of proven experience in FCCS as techno-functional.
- Proficient in cloud FCCS functionalities like standard consolidations & eliminations, currency translations and FX adjustments, automated cash flow, multi-GAAP, intercompany matching, and workflow.
- Certification on Cloud FCCS preferred.
- Strong knowledge on FCCS business rules, calc scripts and MAXL scripts.
- Strong accounting background and CPA preferred.
- Experience in Agile environments and proficiency with Jira.
- Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
