We are looking for a Specialist (Senior Marketing Executive role - B2B) to work in our UK Vocational Marketing team at Pearson. The individual will support the Manager with the promotion of Post-16 Level 2 and 3 portfolio. They will also develop and execute marketing communications to promote the BTEC Level 1 and below portfolio and will implement the monthly BTEC / VQ marketing newsletter to our schools and FE colleges audience.
Reporting to the Manager for BTEC, T Levels and Higher Nationals, the role will be working closely with our product managers and sales team as we develop our product portfolio within a competitive and evolving market. We are looking for someone who is customer focused, commercially-minded, results-driven and able to build relationships with key stakeholders whilst supporting on a number of key portfolio campaigns.
This is a broad agile role that requires a hands‑on marketer to build and maintain good direct and cross-functional relationships and who can support the execution of marketing campaigns across a number of different channels: email, paid social, via sales team whilst producing engaging content and keeping information/documents up to date on the website and on Seismic.

Key responsibilities- Support on the development and implementation of marketing campaigns/activity that drives lead generation and adoption of Post-16 Level 2/3 amongst our schools and FE colleges customer groups.
- Manage the promotion of BTEC Level 1 and below and Sweet Education to drive leads and revenue.
- Manage the production and distribution of the monthly newsletter.
- Manage the production and implementation of marketing communication for multi‑channel campaigns.
- Use customer insights, competitor and market share to inform campaigns.
- Support the planning, development and production of high‑quality marketing content - sales collateral/presentations, website, subject content, emails, video, social posts and for all stages of the customer journey, to maximise campaign effectiveness.
- Work closely with the Advanced Specialists, Manager and design team to create campaigns that follow brand guidelines and ladder effectively to wider product marketing and brand strategy.
- Work closely with Brand/Content team to develop messaging frameworks and write engaging copy for campaigns - using customer insights and Pearson brand and TOV guidelines.
- Tracking and measuring the results of campaigns and support in the production of performance reports.
- Excellent communication and networking skills with a strong sense of teamwork and the ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent copywriting for marketing channels.
- Strong campaign and project management experience.
- A passion for customer experience - analysing products, customers and market dynamics and aligning these to deliver compelling campaigns.
- Multi‑channel campaign management across digital and offline channels (print, DM, email, social, sales, websites, SEM/PPC, SEO, display etc).
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise work effectively.
- Commercial mindset and results‑driven.
- Ability to effectively analyse/interpret results for all marketing campaigns.
