As part of Pearson TQ's Initial Assessment team, you'll play an important role in supporting learners as they begin their apprenticeship journey. You'll manage learner documentation, coordinate enrolments, support inductions, maintain learner records, and help deliver presentations and onboarding activities across Military locations.

The Role:

  • Ensure learners are successfully onboarded onto programmes.
  • Support enrolment activity and maintain accurate learner records.
  • Provide an excellent experience for learners and stakeholders.
  • Manage documentation and data, support learner inductions, facilitate presentations, respond to enquiries, and work closely with colleagues.

The role is based onsite at the Defence School of Transport (DST) in Leconfield, East Yorkshire. Occasional travel to other military training sites may be required to support enrolment and induction activities.

What You'll Own:

  • Support learner enrolment, induction and onboarding activities across apprenticeship and training programmes.
  • Maintain accurate learner records, files and programme documentation.
  • Create and update training plans, learner documentation and individual learning records.
  • Support learner reviews, progress monitoring and programme administration.
  • Deliver learner inductions and facilitate presentations to groups of learners.
  • Explain programme requirements, learner expectations and available qualifications.
  • Respond to learner, tutor and stakeholder enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure learner documentation is completed accurately and in line with funding and compliance requirements.
  • Support absence management, withdrawals and learner record updates.
  • Process and maintain certification, qualification and recognition of prior learning documentation.
  • Maintain databases, learner systems and internal records with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Support audit readiness through effective document management and record keeping.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Pearson TQ and external stakeholders to ensure an outstanding learner experience.
  • Travel to learner locations when required to support enrolments and induction delivery.
  • Provide administrative support across the wider team as required.

About You:

  • Experience within an administrative, customer service or office support environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Confidence managing documentation, records and data accurately.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence interacting with learners, colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong customer service skills and a professional approach.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • The ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
  • Confidence speaking to groups and facilitating presentations or learner activities.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Essential:

  • Experience in administration, customer service, office support, reception or similar environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally when required.
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service and build positive relationships.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information professionally.
