Role Summary

Pearson International Professional Development is looking for Freelance Educational Trainers and Consultants Internationally with extensive Primary and Lower Secondary teaching experience. Teaching experience in Maths, English and Science is preferable but experience across other subjects at Primary and Lower secondary level will be taken into consideration. Candidates who can offer experience in teaching non-native English speaking students will also be of interest. As a freelance trainer you will be required to deliver courses virtually from your home/office and Face-to-Face Internationally to individual schools, or clusters of schools, using the materials produced by the Pearson International Professional Development (PD) team. These materials include online resources, so confidence in using and showing software is essential.

We are looking for freelance trainers to deliver our iPrimary and iLowerSecondary Professional Development Programme, the content is a mixture of online and paper materials, plus Primary and Lower Secondary Pedagogy across multiple subjects.

Role Summary

Essential

  • You have a Qualified Teacher Status within your country of work.

  • You have a minimum of 3 years teaching in either a Primary or Lower Secondary school and/or International School.

  • You have experience of planning and teaching Maths and/or English and/or Science in a Primary or Lower Secondary school and to different year groups within those schools.

  • You have experience giving presentations and leading training events (preferably to teaching staff).

  • You are confident in the use of technology to support teaching and learning.

  • You are confident that you can adapt the delivery of pre-produced materials to suit the customers’ needs.

  • You have strong communication and presentation skills.
