Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle ERP Service Manager to lead the design, development, implementation, and support of Oracle Financials solutions, primarily within the Oracle E-Business Suite (R12). This individual will act as a strategic partner to Finance and IT teams, driving innovation and ensuring the ERP system effectively supports business processes and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the functional expert and primary point of contact for Oracle Financial modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, SLA, and Tax
- Lead end-to-end solution design for financial transformation and automation projects
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Oracle solutions
- Manage and prioritize enhancement requests, bug fixes, and upgrades
- Oversee configuration, testing, and deployment of Oracle financial solutions
- Provide functional support during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes
- Collaborate with technical teams on interfaces, conversions, and extensions
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and local tax regulations
- Drive adoption of Oracle best practices and Cloud capabilities (if applicable)
- Coordinate with vendors and system integrators during implementations or upgrades
- Deep knowledge of financial business processes, closing cycles, and ERP best practices
- Strong experience in Subledger Accounting (SLA), multi-currency, and multi-org environments
- Familiarity with Oracle workflows, approval hierarchies, and role-based access
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of Oracle tables for reporting and reconciliation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum 12+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Financials (EBS R12 or Oracle Cloud)
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, statutory compliance, and tax requirements
- Proven experience leading Oracle ERP implementations or upgrades across multiple geographies
- Familiarity with Oracle Security, Workflow Approvals, and Reporting Tools (BI Publisher, OTBI, FRS)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Oracle Certification (e.g., Oracle Financials Certified Implementation Specialist) is a plus
- Familiarity with SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit support
- Exposure to Agile, ITIL, or similar project methodologies
