A GCSE Chinese (2017 specification) Examiner will mark candidates\’ responses in accordance with the pre-defined mark scheme, whilst adhering to recognition and examination procedures. Marking is mainly conducted onscreen using ePEN and can be completed from home. A high level of subject knowledge is necessary to apply the mark scheme. Each examiner will receive an agreed allocation of scripts.
Responsibilities
Mark accurately and consistently to ensure overall standards are maintained.
Submit samples to the Team Leader at designated times.
Adhere to milestones for marking.
Complete all specified administration.
Experience and Qualifications
Degree or equivalent.
Qualified teacher – UK and overseas qualifications accepted.
Relevant teaching and/or assessment experience within the last 10 years.
Competencies Required
Ability to work well under pressure.
Ability to meet deadlines.
High level of subject knowledge to apply the mark scheme.
Additional Information
