Join to apply for the Examiner – BTEC Next Generation role at PearsonWe are recruiting BTEC Examiners for the following sectors: Animal Care, Applied Science, Business, Construction, CPLD, Engineering, Equine Studies, Health and Social Care, Hospitality, Media, Music, Performing Arts, Public Services, Travel & Tourism. We are also actively recruiting BTEC Examiners across sectors who can verify in the medium of Welsh.A BTEC Next Generation Examiner marks candidates\’ responses in accordance with the pre-defined mark scheme, while adhering to the Code of Practice and examination procedures. Most subjects will be marked onscreen using ePEN, which can be done from home. A few subjects are still marked in the traditional method, using paper scripts sent through the post. A high level of subject knowledge is necessary in order to apply the mark scheme.
