Advanced Specialist (Global Brand Manager) leverages subject‑matter expertise in global brand application, owning complex brand initiatives with a high degree of autonomy. This role works alongside the Brand Director to embed a new global identity and architecture, shape processes, governance, and ways of working, and influence creative direction and delivery across Pearson’s global learning portfolio.
The newly launched bold global brand needs a trusted guardian to protect, evolve, and embed the identity. This role partners across business units, marketing, product, digital, customer experience, and agencies to ensure every touchpoint delivers on our promise, combining strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.
What You'll Own
- A globally consistent, high‑quality brand experience across channels and markets;

Your biggest priorities will be:
- Embedding Pearson’s new brand strategy, identity, and architecture globally;
- Acting as the day‑to‑day brand partner and expert for business units;
- Strengthening brand governance through tools, training, and a best‑in‑class brand hub.
You will lead, create, and influence:
- Global brand rollouts, migrations, and complex brand initiatives;
- Creative development and reviews with in‑house and external agencies;
- Brand training, enablement, and best‑practice sharing;
- Cross‑functional alignment across marketing, digital, customer experience, and sales;
- Brand measurement, insights, and continuous improvement.
About You
You bring deep experience in global brand management and combine clarity, confidence, and collaboration. You thrive in fast‑moving, global environments, simplifying complexity and driving teams to action.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field;
- 7+ years of experience in brand‑focused roles, ideally global or multi‑market;
- Expertise in brand identity, governance, architecture, and measurement;
- Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills;
- Experience working with agencies and creative partners;
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and influencing capabilities;
- Fluent English and comfort working in a global environment.
