As a Media Producer, you will collaborate with teams from product, design, delivery, and partners to produce top-notch video, audio, and motion content. This role provides hands-on media production support, contributing to the planning, creation, and delivery of media content that supports Pearson products and services. The role focuses on practical production delivery, working collaboratively with internal teams and partners to produce effective audio, video, and motion-based content. The role includes on-location filming and supports evolving media workflows and tools as Pearson's content creation continues to develop.
Key responsibilities:
- Contribute to the creation and delivery of media content across video, audio, animation, and motion formats.
- Deliver on-location filming, including filming in schools and office environments, working with contributors on site.
- Support media production activities such as planning, scripting input, templates, and quality checks.
- Work with internal stakeholders in product, design, and delivery to shape practical and achievable media solutions.
- Support media activity involving external suppliers or freelancers where required.
- Ensure media outputs align with agreed quality, accessibility, and brand standards.
- Engage with new tools, workflows, and technologies that support efficient and scalable media production.
Practical experience:
- Filming on location, including in schools and/or office settings.
- Advanced experience of common media production tools (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Audition, PowerPoint).
- Experience contributing to video and audio production workflows.
- Ability to work effectively in real-world environments with changing constraints.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative, problem-solving approach.
- Awareness or working knowledge of AI-assisted media creation tools for audio and video, reflecting modern content creation practices at Pearson.
Desirable experience:
- Experience working in education or other regulated environments.
- Familiarity with permissions, safeguarding, or filming considerations when working with non-professional contributors.
- Experience working with external suppliers or supporting colleagues in media production tasks.
