I am looking for a qualified Teacher of Science for a job starting in September 2025.This Science teaching job will be filled initially on a temporary basis but could become a permanent role for the right candidate.
This teaching job is based in a secondary school in Canterbury so would suit a candidate based in East Kent. The school has easy access by road and public transport with parking on site for those looking to use a car.
The successful Science teacher will be required to teach KS3 and KS4 Science courses with a keen focus on nurturing young minds and providing and exciting and engaging curriculum. The Science department at this school is very strong with excellent support on hand with resources and equipment if necessary. Teachers are well supported by a leadership team that values mental health and developing its staff.
In order to succeed in this role you will be able to demonstrate:
- Outstanding teaching in KS3 – KS4 Science (ideally with a specialism in Physics)
- Ability to teach mixed-ability classes
- Innovative teaching style
- Willingness to embrace new teaching technologies
