We’re supporting a growing business that’s looking to expand their team with a talented and driven Interior Designer.
This is an exciting new role where you’ll have the chance to shape and mould this area of the business alongside the Senior Designer, developing inspiring interior concepts that showcase beautiful furniture collections and elevate customer experiences.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Collaborating with clients, sales teams, and product developers to understand project needs and deliver stunning interior solutions
- Designing and planning spaces using CAD software (SketchUp)
- Selecting furniture, fabrics, colours, lighting, and accessories to create cohesive, on-trend spaces
- Producing mood boards and presentations to communicate your ideas effectively
- Keeping up to date with furniture trends, materials, and design styles to drive innovative concepts
- Helping with showroom layouts and displays at the Chesterfield showroom to optimise customer flow and highlight key products
- Overseeing the installation and styling of spaces for clients, photo shoots, and events
- Assisting photographers with styling on location shoots
- Travelling across the UK when needed, with overnight stays as required
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree in Interior Design (or related field)
- Proficiency with SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong visual storytelling, presentation, and communication skills
- Excellent understanding of materials, finishes, and furniture construction
- Great project management and organisational abilities
- Confident presenting ideas to clients and bringing your creative vision to life
It’d Be Great If You Also Have:
- Experience working on residential or commercial interiors
- Knowledge of sustainable materials and design practices
- A portfolio that shows your talent for integrating furniture into beautiful interior spaces
