Factory Operative

Medway (must have own transport due to limited public transport routes)

Monday to Friday 48 hours per week (Early Finish Every Friday!)

Are you reliable, hands-on, and looking to join a business where your work genuinely matters? We’re supporting a well-established company in the Rochester area that’s looking to grow their team with a dependable and hardworking Factory Operative.

This is a varied, physical role based in a busy production environment, where you\’ll be primarily shot blasting and supporting the wider team with general manufacturing and fettling tasks.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Operate machinery including pattern injection, soluble injection, wax extruder, and band saw.
  • Carry out production tasks such as wax inspection, kitting, and manual handling.
  • Use touch screen booking systems and complete job cards accurately.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping at all times.
  • Work in line with risk assessments, safe systems of work, and PPE requirements.
  • What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous factory or production experience is essential
  • Previous experience preparing metal for painting is an advantage
  • Experience sing
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
  • A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Attention to detail and a willingness to follow instructions closely
