Pearson Whiffin Recruitment is working with a well-established, innovation-focused business in the nutrition and supplement sector. The organisation works on a variety of development projects across food, beverage, and supplement applications and is known for its collaborative approach and technical expertise.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a Product Developer to support multiple projects from early-stage concepts through to market-ready products in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support and deliver new product development and innovation projects
  • Translate ideas and briefs into technically sound, commercially viable solutions
  • Work across nutrition, supplement and beverage-related applications
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to scope and progress projects
  • Consider quality, cost, compliance, and feasibility at every stage
  • Support sensory evaluation, stability, and shelf-life considerations
  • Assist with trials and first productions where required
  • Provide technical and formulation input across the wider business
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and best practice within R&D

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Food Science, Food Chemistry or a related field
  • Experience supporting product development projects from concept through to delivery
  • Understanding of ingredient functionality (vitamins, minerals, flavours, sweeteners)
  • Curious, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple projects
  • Strong communicator and collaborative team player
  • Passion for innovation, nutrition and continuous improvement
