Pearson Whiffin Recruitment is working with a well-established, innovation-focused business in the nutrition and supplement sector. The organisation works on a variety of development projects across food, beverage, and supplement applications and is known for its collaborative approach and technical expertise.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a Product Developer to support multiple projects from early-stage concepts through to market-ready products in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support and deliver new product development and innovation projects
- Translate ideas and briefs into technically sound, commercially viable solutions
- Work across nutrition, supplement and beverage-related applications
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to scope and progress projects
- Consider quality, cost, compliance, and feasibility at every stage
- Support sensory evaluation, stability, and shelf-life considerations
- Assist with trials and first productions where required
- Provide technical and formulation input across the wider business
- Contribute to continuous improvement and best practice within R&D
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Food Science, Food Chemistry or a related field
- Experience supporting product development projects from concept through to delivery
- Understanding of ingredient functionality (vitamins, minerals, flavours, sweeteners)
- Curious, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple projects
- Strong communicator and collaborative team player
- Passion for innovation, nutrition and continuous improvement
