Pearson Whiffin Education is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors for both long-term roles and flexible, ad-hoc daily cover. Whether you’re looking for full-time hours or part-time flexibility, we can match you with schools that suit your availability. We are seeking candidates to work in schools in Canterbury, Ashford, Thanet, Faversham and Dover.
Key Requirements:
- A DBS registered on the Update Service – or willingness to apply for a new DBS.
- Previous experience working with children or young people in any capacity.
- Good references and eligibility to work in the UK.
- Either a car and licence to drive or easy access to public transport.
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning during staff absences. You’ll supervise pre-prepared lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure a safe and supportive environment for students. Pastoral care and safeguarding responsibilities are also a crucial part of the role.
