A growing manufacturing business is looking for a hands-on Production Saw Technician to join its busy workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, likes being active throughout the day and takes pride in producing quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Working within a close-knit team, you'll be responsible for processing metal materials accurately and safely while helping keep production running efficiently.
What you'll be doing:
- Operating specialist cutting machinery to process metal materials
- Working from measurements and technical drawings
- Loading, moving and organising materials using a Counterbalance FLT
- Carrying out basic machine checks and routine maintenance
- Working towards daily production targets
- Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and housekeeping
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience operating machinery within manufacturing, production, engineering or workshop environments
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
- Comfortable reading measurements and working accurately
- Physically fit and happy working in a hands-on role
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Own transport due to location and start times
