This role would suit someone who enjoys the technical side of engineering, but also has the confidence and personality to work closely with customers, suppliers and colleagues across the business. Importantly, this is not a heavily sales-driven environment focused on cold calling or unrealistic targets. Instead, the role centres around understanding engineering requirements, preparing accurate project quotations and helping customers identify the right technical solution.

  • Reviewing drawings, technical information and customer requirements
  • Calculating labour, materials and external contractor costs
  • Speaking with suppliers to obtain pricing and lead times
  • Producing clear and professional proposals for customers
  • Supporting customers with technical and commercial queries

  • Visiting customer sites occasionally with senior team members

You'll gain exposure to a wide variety of engineering projects and applications, giving you an excellent platform to build both technical and commercial experience.

What They're Looking For

  • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering or a similar technical subject
  • Strong communication skills and a professional approach
  • Good attention to detail and numerical confidence
  • Interested in engineering systems, industrial technology and problem solving
  • Motivated to build a long-term career within a growing engineering business
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Graduates with placement experience, part-time technical work or customer-facing experience would be particularly interesting, although this isn't essential.

Why Apply?

  • Excellent training and mentoring from experienced professionals
  • Clear progression into senior commercial or technical engineering roles
  • Opportunity to work on interesting industrial projects
  • Supportive and collaborative team environment
  • Company vehicle provided after probation
