This role would suit someone who enjoys the technical side of engineering, but also has the confidence and personality to work closely with customers, suppliers and colleagues across the business. Importantly, this is not a heavily sales-driven environment focused on cold calling or unrealistic targets. Instead, the role centres around understanding engineering requirements, preparing accurate project quotations and helping customers identify the right technical solution.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing cost estimates for engineering works, repairs and upgrade projects
- Reviewing drawings, technical information and customer requirements
- Calculating labour, materials and external contractor costs
- Speaking with suppliers to obtain pricing and lead times
- Producing clear and professional proposals for customers
- Supporting customers with technical and commercial queries
- Updating internal systems and tracking quotation activity
- Visiting customer sites occasionally with senior team members
You'll gain exposure to a wide variety of engineering projects and applications, giving you an excellent platform to build both technical and commercial experience.

- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering or a similar technical subject
