Our client, based in the West Kent area, are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on an initial 12 month contract. You will join a friendly and collaborative finance team and after an initial training period, the company offers a hybrid working model, working 2 days a week from home.

The Role

Reporting to the Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance function across the business. Responsibilities will include:

  • Processing purchase invoices and payments
  • Preparing payment runs
  • Completing bank reconciliations
  • Managing CIS deductions and submissions
  • Posting intercompany transactions and journals
  • Monitoring arrears and issuing late payment notices
  • Raising ad-hoc recharges
  • Processing employee expense claims
  • Maintaining finance schedules and trackers
  • Supporting with office stationery ordering and general administration
  • Assisting with additional ad-hoc finance duties as required

Suitable candidates will have experience covering the accounts duties listed above and be available immediately or at short notice. Experience with CIS payments would be a distinct advantage. If this sounds of interest then apply today!
