We’re recruiting for a Warehouse & Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing operation. This is not a traditional warehouse role where you’ll spend all day on a forklift. Instead, you’ll support both warehouse and production activities, helping materials flow efficiently through the operation.
This role would suit someone from a manufacturing, warehouse or industrial background who enjoys being part of a team and takes pride in doing a job properly.
The Role
- Loading, unloading and moving materials safely around site
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift as part of daily duties
- Picking, preparing and organising materials for production
- Supporting stock control and warehouse organisation
- Assisting production teams when required
- Carrying out quality and visual checks
- Maintaining high housekeeping standards
- Following Health & Safety procedures and site processes at all times
About You
You’ll be someone who enjoys a hands-on role and is comfortable working within a manufacturing environment. You will have:
- A valid national Counterbalance Forklift licence
- Previous warehouse, production or manufacturing experience
- Experience handling stock and materials within an industrial setting
- Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements
- Strong work ethic and dependable attitude
- Willingness to support both warehouse and production activities
- Own transport due to location
