We are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established charitable organisation for a permanent Transport Manager based in Farnham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced transport professional who is looking to work in a purpose-led environment and contribute to an organisation that makes a real difference to the community.

The role involves overseeing the day-to-day transport operations, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with relevant legislation. You will play a key role in supporting the charity's objectives by ensuring transport services operate smoothly and reliably.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily transport and fleet operations
  • Ensuring compliance with transport legislation, health and safety, and safeguarding requirements
  • Ensuring ongoing compliance with Operator Licence requirements
  • Leading, motivating, and developing drivers and transport staff
  • Overseeing vehicle maintenance, inspections, and scheduling
  • Managing budgets, costs, and operational efficiencies
  • Acting as the main point of contact for transport-related matters

About you:

  • Proven experience in a Transport Manager or similar role
  • A valid CPC qualification (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of transport compliance and best practice
  • Excellent communication and people management skills
  • The ability to work effectively within a charitable or values-driven organisation
  • A proactive, organised, and solution-focused approach

Experience within the charity or public sector would be beneficial but is not essential.
