Are you an organised administrator with excellent customer service skills and a keen eye for detail? We're recruiting for a Clerical Assistant to join a friendly and supportive team within a well-established organisation operating in the property and financial services sector.
This is a varied role where you'll provide administrative support, assist clients with online enquiries, produce reports, maintain internal systems and play an important part in delivering a first-class customer experience.
Duties include:
- Providing administrative support to the wider team.
- Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email, resolving queries efficiently and professionally.
- Assisting clients with online account support, including password resets and user account creation.
- Setting up and maintaining cases on the internal case management system.
- Producing accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports.
- Updating databases and ensuring records remain accurate and up to date.
- Managing incoming and outgoing post, scanning and general office administration.
- Chasing outstanding payments and dealing with account-related enquiries.
- Supporting customer onboarding, including welcome calls and online system demonstrations.
- Assisting with business development campaigns through telephone and email contact with prospective clients.
- Providing support with ad hoc administrative tasks and projects as required.
The right candidate will have/be:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- A proactive and positive approach to work.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Experience working within a professional services, legal, financial or property environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
