Our client, a global manufacturer of heavy-duty machinery, is seeking a driven and well organised Commercial Support Coordinator to join their busy Sittingbourne depot. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established international business, supporting a high performing commercial and sales function.
You will manage online enquiries, speak with customers to understand their requirements, and ensure accurate information is passed to the relevant sales colleagues and regional teams. The focus of this role is customer liaison, coordination and administrative support with a view to supporting the sales team to drive revenue.
Key duties include:
Manage incoming enquiries from online channels and promotional activity
Call customers to confirm details, understand their needs and gather relevant information
Allocate qualified enquiries to the appropriate sales representatives or regional dealers
Maintain accurate customer records and ensure timely communication across departments
Track and follow up on allocated enquiries to support the commercial workflow
Use internal systems and online tools to ensure efficient management of all enquiries
Provide a friendly, professional and well organised point of contact for all customers
Essential Requirements:
Previous experience within a relevant role within the construction, heavy plant or machinery industry
Experience in a sales support role with high volume telephone calls is essential
Confident communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with customers
Detail focused, reliable and proactive
An energetic, enthusiastic and proactive approach
